Amazing!

I have to say that this Christmas has been absolutely amazing!  Of course the BFP helped, but celebrating with a 2 year old has brought so much fun to the season.  We have thoroughly enjoyed seeing so much excitement through Drew's eyes and Christmas has truly been a magical time for him!

From the decorations to the lights, the Holiday stories, music and movies, and everything in between, our Little Man has been thoroughly enthralled by it all.  2 really is such a magical age.

Drew is convinced that Santa and Rudolph pulled our plane to MN!  The best part was that we flew at night so there were red blinking lights and he was even more convinced that Rudolph was there!

Life really couldn't get much better!

Here he is playing with his new play doh at Grandma's.

Did You Catch it Yesterday?

Did you catch the pic of the Elf holding the positive HPT in our Wordless Wednesday post?  If you didn't......Here is another pic!

The details.....
IUI was 12/5
Positive HPT evening of day 9 (12/14)
Beta #1 133
Beta #2 339
doubling time of 32 hours

One small concern....progesterone was 11.75 and 10.9 on the two blood draws.  Not really very happy about that, but it is still above 10 (though barely) and doc says just keep our fingers crossed, say our prayers and we will go in for an U/S at around 8 weeks.

We could use all of the sticky vibes and healthy baby growing thoughts that you have...

Our Elf....Jingle

We have fallen prey to the Elf on a Shelf.....and boy is it fun!  At first we weren't quite sure what Drew was going to think of it and now he gets quite excited every morning to go and find Jingle.  He stands at the top of the stairs and yells "Jingle, where are you?"  I am not sure who is having more fun- the boy or his Moms!

Here are some of the adventures Jingle has had already:

Arriving:

Riding the Christmas Train

Fixing the car.

Having a snack with Buzz and Woody.

Leaving some money for the piggy bank.

Working on a Christmas puzzle.

Roasting s'mores.

Riding the reindeer trains.

Reading with his buddies.

Leaving magic seeds for us to plant that grew into cookies.

Where has the Time Gone?

I can't believe it has been over a month since I have blogged.....where has the time gone?  It seems to move at lightning speed these days and we have proof of that because our little man has turned TWO!  We aren't quite sure how that has happened and how he has grown so big, so quickly!

Drew continues to amaze us.  He is speaking in full, nearly complex sentences all of the time.  His vocaubulary is absolutely mind baffling for that of a two year old.  He knows his colors, can sing the entire ABC song and we are working on counting to ten.

He continues to love trains and we often have a floor covered with the intricate tracks we have built.  He has also found the enjoyment of building with blocks and his Nana and Opa gave him a wonderful table that he can build on as the top flips to a block building base!

We are in awe that this toddler was so teeny tiny just a short time ago.  It really is amazing the amount of growth and development that has taken place in such a short time.  We continue to love every moment of being his Moms and never take for granted that we are so truly blessed to call him our son!

Some fun pics from our birthday festivities:
