Here!

We are here - really we are!  I can't believe it has been about 5 months since we last posted.  I guess we are just enjoying life with our Little Man and anxiously awaiting the arrival of our Peanut!  Before we know it, we will be a family of 4!

Drew is such a smart, inquisitive, charming, witty boy.  He makes us laugh all of the time with the things he says and does.  While the age of 2 1/2 (how did he get this big????) certainly does come with its challenges, it is such a fun age as well.  Everything is fun and exciting when you are that age!

We have had a lovely summer thus far.  As soon as school got out, we packed up the van and headed West on a 2 1/2 week adventure to visit MJ's family.  We camped (in cabins) on the way and it was a perfect solution to spending the whole day in the car as we could enjoy playgrounds, pools, smores and all the fun that goes with camping.

We had a wonderful time visiting and Drew was quite excited to go on his first horse ride with cousin Sam, ride in Uncle Jim's boat, visit the Minnesota Zoo and many other adventures.  It was a great "last hurrah" as a family of 3 and we all thoroughly enjoyed it!

After being home for a few days, we headed to Northern NH with Carrie's family to stay in a house on a lake for 5 days.  We didn't do much but relax and it was wonderful.  Drew and Mom had lots of fun fishing off the end of the dock and catching his first fish.  He also saw his first moose (with her calf), ate ice cream and swam in the lake.

Now we have been home for a couple of weeks and we are working on preparing for Peanut's arrival.
