Things....

*We had our first OB appt yesterday.  What we didn't know was all they were doing was paper work and drawing a bazillion vials of blood.  Nothing exciting.....I go back on Monday for my physical, pap, etc...

*Vacation is almost over - boo hoo - how come it always goes so fast???

*Did you notice the ticker on the side bar - it is below 200 now - 199 days - YAHOO!!!

*Our golden Sadie is definitely missing Willy - she is very out of sorts and will just sit and bark this really sad, high pitched bark.

*I threw my back out today and I'm quite uncomfortable - made a trip to the chiro and I'll go back again tomorrow.  OHHH, I hope this gets better soon.  She told me that she could already tell the the pregnancy has caused my ligaments to loosen.

*I saw a great rainbow on the way back from the chiro today.....it ended on the road right in front of me!

*We're almost to the point that we can announce our pregnancy to a wider audience - exciting!

More Snow

I LOVE three day weekends. The best part of today was that had it not been a holiday, it would have been a snow day that we would have had to make up in June. We got nine inches of snow overnight last night and this morning. It was wet and heavy snow too. It was so pretty though.

This morning, we had fun scrapbooking in our clean and organized basement. Boy, it didn't take long to mess it up though. After that, I went out and cleared the driveway and backyard. We have to snowblow paths in the backyard so the dogs can go potty!

While I was clearing, MJ worked on correcting papers - she had two weeks worth to plow through!

Once I finished outside, I went back to the basement and made some PJ bottoms. They are so cute and comfy! MJ continued correcting - she worked for about 6 hours - but she got it all done!
It's back to the grind tomorrow, but I'll leave you with one last cute picture from last night of Sadie and Gus snuggling together.

Funny Kids

I was looking through pictures this morning and found a few goofy ones of our animals. So, today's post is an ode to them. Enjoy!

When everyone is tired!

Helping get the new gazebo out of the box.

Hey, might as well use the new pool as a water bowl.

Helping set up the new gazebo.

Playing in the hose.

Helping put the new cushions on the gazebo furniture.

As you can see - they are such great helpers! Willy is feeling MUCH better and got a good report from the vet on Thursday - he gained 3.5 pounds in 6 days - I'll say he's feeling better!

MJ is on her way into school for a few hours today (yuck, on a Sat...) but the end of the year brings so much work that for sanity's sake, she'll try to get some of it done. I'm staying home and puttering around here to get some stuff done...

A Great Helper

We have been trying to get this pool set up for over a week now. It has been a bit of a hassle, but it is coming along. Last night, Sadie decided she was going to help us out! We were in the backyard and all of a sudden Sadie made a big leap into the pool - it is still low enough for her to get in! We laughed pretty hard and took some pics and a little video of her frolicking in the water. She is too darn cute!

Naughty Sadie

So, we owe another post to the furry friends. You see, our golden Sadie can be very naughty. Often she will scratch incessantly at the floor. She also has a thing for all things paper. Paper towels, tissues, napkins, regular paper, etc. On Friday night she was in one of her moods again and we were going crazy. MJ just gave her a hunk of paper left over from correcting papers and this is what she did with it. The mess was fun to clean up, but it kept her busy for quite a while!

Here is another cute one of the little boys laying together the other night - you don't see this happen very often.
